Dharamshala: This morning, Auditor General Tashi Topgyal officially took the oath of secrecy before Chief Justice Commissioner Yeshi Wangmo at Songtsen Hall of the Tibetan Supreme Justice Commission (TSJC).

The ceremony, held at 10:00 a.m., began with the offering of ceremonial khatags and mandalas to the portrait of His Holiness the Dalai Lama by Chief Justice Commissioner Yeshi Wangmo and Auditor General Tashi Topgyal, respectively.

Following this, the new Auditor General formally took the oath of secrecy. Earlier on 7 April 2025, he had taken the oath of office at Sikyong Hall alongside two newly appointed Tibetan Justice Commissioners of the TSJC.

Tibetan Justice Commissioners Dawa Phunkyi and Phagpa Tsering then presented khatags to Auditor General Tashi Topgyal as a gesture of official recognition.
