Dharamshala: On 30 January 2026, the Office of the Auditor General (OAG) of the Central Tibetan Administration officially launched its new website, www.oag.tibet.com, during an inaugural ceremony held at Choerig Hall, T Building, Gangchen Kyishong, at 3:00 PM.
The event was graced by the Auditor General, Tashi Topgyal, as the Chief Guest. The website was developed with technical support and collaboration from the Tibetan Computer Resource Centre (TCRC), marking an important step in strengthening the OAG’s digital presence.
The inauguration began with a traditional ribbon-cutting ceremony performed by the Auditor General using brass scissors, formally marking the launch of the new digital platform.
Following the launch, Tenzin Tendar, Content Manager of the OAG, presented an overview of the website. He guided attendees through the site’s structure, layout, and user-friendly navigation. He highlighted that the website contains comprehensive links to the Charter, Rules, and Regulations related to the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA), making essential institutional information easily accessible. He also shared plans to introduce a Tibetan-language accounting terms dictionary on the website in the future.
The ceremony was attended by Secretary Dawa Tsultrim, Additional Secretary Thinley Chomphel, Joint Secretary Tenzin Shedhen, 14 staff members of the OAG, and Rinzin Wangmo, a web developer from TCRC.
In his remarks, the Auditor General appreciated the collective efforts of the OAG team and TCRC in successfully completing the project. The programme concluded with a high-tea reception, providing an opportunity for informal interaction and discussion among staff members.
