Dharamshala: Mr. Gonpo Phuntsok, the newly elected Auditor General of the Central Tibetan Administration was sworn-in today (23 Sept 2014) at a swearing-in ceremony held at Gangchen Kyishong.

The oath of office was administered by Chief Justice Commissioner Ngawang Phelgyal Gyechen of the Tibetan Supreme Justice Commission. Dignitaries present include Tibetan Justice Commissioners, members of the Tibetan Parliament, members of the Kashag and Secretaries of various departments.

Mr. Gonpo Phuntsok was formerly the Secretary of the Office of the Auditor General. He was elected as the Auditor General after winning a vote held in the Tibetan Parliament.
